It's a hard sell sometimes, but the fact is we love what we do.
We started Frogman to embrace and further build upon momentum we experienced in our collaborative efforts in prior professional walks. When we mapped out our collective ventures, we identified a great deal of industry overlap and expertise that became the platform upon which we crafted our vision for this company - to leverage technology and refined graphic design for the purpose of delivering immersive experiences.

So was born our desire to have users ‘dive deep' into the interactive realm - and to recruit talented designers and developers that share our passion for generating these highly intuitive products. We strive to cultivate a work environment that promotes personal and professional growth, and that champions the unique causes of our clients at all times; we do not feel those are mutually exclusive concepts. Our current nucleus of talent has us poised to continue these efforts and grow our business in a fashion that retains our core values.
We're immensely grateful for the numerous friends and partners who supported and encouraged us to open our doors in May of 2008. Only from the benefit of hindsight can we say this, but we truly wish we had done it sooner. For those that trusted us in our infancy - thank you. For those that are considering us - prepare to dive deep...
- David Caudle & Hoyle Koontz
David's professional experiences have allowed him to develop corporate identity and brand management initiatives, with a focus on interactive marketing campaigns that integrate with traditional print/media outlets.
After building interactive departments for traditional advertising and IT companies, David started Frogman Interactive to produce more specialized Web deliverables that could be produced in-house, thereby offering a better value to customers. His clients have ranged from Fortune 1000 companies such as American General, Great American Insurance Company and Atlas Air, to high profile golf resorts and communities, such as The Desert Inn, The Broadmoor, Daniel Island Company and Clint Eastwood's Tehama. David also designed the logo for the 2003 US Open Golf Championship at Olympia Fields.
Hoyle's career path has evolved just as imaging technologies have also evolved. As these technologies have become paramount in web-based communications, Hoyle has harnessed his imaging expertise across a number of client Web sites to allow for immersive interaction as part of the brand experience.
His career includes Director of TV News Photography for an ABC affiliate, with work airing on major national networks including ABC, CNN, and ESPN. As a leading producer of 360-degree Virtual Tour Photography, demand for his work has carried him across the country for client projects. Hoyle's prior client history focuses heavily on the travel and real estate market with a client list including Choice Hotels International, Snowshoe Mountain Resort, Burroughs & Chapin Company, The Carolina Inn, and The Ridges Resort.
Julien is a seasoned Web site Designer and Multimedia Specialist who began his passion for imagery as a videographer for Reality Television in Los Angeles.
Before discovering his passion for online work, Julien used to work as a cameraman in Los Angeles. He was part of many Reality shows, such as The Biggest Loser, For Love Or Money and Endurance. Tired of running the scorching beaches of Mexico and Rain Forests of Hawaii, he began to develop a taste for web design. He then moved to Boston to further his new skills and found a job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina while doing freelance work.
Throughout the years, Julien has developed an eye for Web 2.0 design trends and produced numerous web products from conception to evaluation using modern tools and W3C guidelines. He values a high level of design (can you say pixel freak!) and creativity balanced with marketing, branding and internet standards.
Kate graduated from Appalachian State University with a BFA in graphic design, and brings a fresh perspective for both print and interactive design to the Frogman team.
After departing Boone, NC to return to the Triad, Kate pursued a freelance career that allowed her to cut her teeth in and out of the realm of the World Wide Web. Lured by an opportunity to work with an integrated team, Kate willingly found her way to our pond and is actively helping elevate our clients marketing efforts.
